Steam Education bilingual
The STEAM bilingual class at the Preschool Green Lighthouse is one of two models Early Childhood Education is being researched and implemented at the school, focusing on self-study methods, the ability to work in groups, and practice skills in applying knowledge in practice. Children will learn and practice safe keeping skills along with age-appropriate soft skills.

1. English is an advantage with the bilingual class. English is used throughout the lessons, extracurricular activities, especially in class when there is a native teacher at 1/2 day with the child. Besides, Vietnamese teachers use English and Vietnamese balances, helping children develop evenly in 2 languages, increasing children’s ability to exchange and share.

2. Steam Social Emotional Learning (Social Emotional Learning)

3. Operational skills:
– Think slow
– Always think about the problem
– Make decisions based on information and evidence about materials
Reflect on how children have solved problems by testing, evaluating and improving
– Acknowledge that there is more than one way to solve the problem.

4. fine motor skills:
Developing fine motor skills refers to small muscle groups such as the muscles in the hands and wrists. Children practice fine motor skills in parallel with the process of doing techniques

5. Language reception:
Children learn words that they hear the most, things that they find interesting. Children learn the best language in an interactive and highly responsive environment (more than a passive learning environment in the style of “pronounce according to teacher”). Children learn words better when words are placed in the context or individually.

6. Technician children:
Provide children with many opportunities for children: discuss their ideas, explain their choices, help them have language capital to make conclusions based on experimental and exploratory evidence.
– Technique is a collaborative activity that greatly improves the ability to work in a team

The school always upholds a hygienic, clean and safe environment according to the standards of the BGD for children to comfortably play and study.
Green Lighthouse Preschool has a team of experienced, dedicated medical staff and always monitor and report the children's weekly health.
The school promotes close communication between teachers and parents, helping parents understand and understand their children's daily life at school.

For preschool-aged children, the project is implemented in three basic steps: Project initiation, project implementation, and project closure. During the exploration process, children plan, execute, and manage their own experiential activities; the teacher’s role is only to guide and support them. At this stage, the child is the central figure, and with the teacher’s help, they independently solve a complex learning task, both theoretically and practically. Through this, they create their own products and can present them to others. This enhances their self-reliance and active participation in activities; it encourages and develops creativity, responsibility, teamwork skills, and especially the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
This is an engineering design process that allows children to create simple devices such as gadgets, toys, or learning tools according to their needs and desires, under the guidance and support of teachers and classmates. It helps children solve problems in their lives.
This learning model helps children focus on the learning process, be proactive and collaborative, and provides challenges appropriate to their age and ability to explore and discover. It encourages them to surpass themselves and persevere.
