School meals

In Hai Dang Preschool, the nutrition program is designed with detailed-oriented care to give children sufficient nutrients for their growth. The menu is built to meet the nutrition needs and balance the calories for school activities. Children will be served 5 meals per day with weekly menus that are nutritious-based and age-appropriate.

From 1 - 3 years old, children are curious about the surroundings compared to those at the age of 3 - 5 who can explore the world on their own and ask questions of adults. At the same time, they also know about food culture, dishes, and the amount consumed; therefore, building a healthy dietary habit.

1. Practicing healthy eating habits with various types of food: meals are cooked in different ways and changed daily to stimulate children’s appetite.
2. Establishing good table manners
Create a relaxing atmosphere while eating. 
Know respectful table manners: Invite others before having the meal.
Do not disturb others.
Those who are below 3 years old need to practice the right posture during mealtime.
Children from 4-5 years old need to know the correct order when having the meals.
Pick up food that falls on floor into the tray.
