A SEASON OF CHRISTMAS WONDERS

At Hai Dang Xanh STEM Preschool, magic is never just a fleeting moment. It unfolds gently across a journey filled with warmth, love, and meaningful experiences.

The wonder began when our little “sailors” gathered together to recite a special Christmas spell, lighting up the Christmas tree for the very first time in their lives. They sang beloved holiday songs in joyful harmony and captured precious memories beside a glowing tree that symbolized excitement, hope, and togetherness.

Magic continued in the classrooms, where children discovered the joy of creation. There was genuine delight when a child proudly realized, “My gingerbread cookie turned out so lovely!” That sense of accomplishment grew with each activity — from crafting their own snow globes to decorating beautiful stockings to hang on the wishing tree. Every lesson became an opportunity for hands-on exploration, creativity, and confidence building.

Perhaps the most meaningful moments were those shared with family. During our vibrant Christmas Fair, children celebrated alongside their parents and loved ones in a festive atmosphere filled with color, laughter, and connection.

Families enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes inspired by different cultures around the world, reflecting the spirit of diversity and global community we value at Hai Dang Xanh. There were exciting games that brought endless joy, with charming surprise gift bags as rewards. Our Christmas performances, thoughtfully prepared by both students and teachers, received enthusiastic support from the audience and created memories that will be treasured for years to come.

In the eyes of our children, the highlight may have been the magical shower of confetti and balloons filling the air — a moment when celebration truly felt like wonder brought to life.

Beyond the festivities, the spirit of giving was at the heart of our celebration. Through the Christmas Fair, our school community donated 150 kilograms of warm clothing and toys, along with VND 9,250,000 (raised from the fair’s total profits), to the “Warm Coats for Children” Fund. This meaningful initiative reflects our commitment to nurturing kindness, empathy, and social responsibility in our students.

For the Hai Dang Xanh team, the brightest magic of all was found in the sparkling eyes and joyful smiles of our children and families. We hope our Christmas Fair will always be a place where families come together to celebrate a warm, happy, and truly meaningful holiday season.

For preschool-aged children, the project is implemented in three basic steps: Project initiation, project implementation, and project closure. During the exploration process, children plan, execute, and manage their own experiential activities; the teacher’s role is only to guide and support them. At this stage, the child is the central figure, and with the teacher’s help, they independently solve a complex learning task, both theoretically and practically. Through this, they create their own products and can present them to others. This enhances their self-reliance and active participation in activities; it encourages and develops creativity, responsibility, teamwork skills, and especially the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

This is an engineering design process that allows children to create simple devices such as gadgets, toys, or learning tools according to their needs and desires, under the guidance and support of teachers and classmates. It helps children solve problems in their lives.

This learning model helps children focus on the learning process, be proactive and collaborative, and provides challenges appropriate to their age and ability to explore and discover. It encourages them to surpass themselves and persevere.
