HAPPY VIETNAMESE WOMEN’S DAY WITH SPECIAL WORKSHOP OF HAI DANG XANH STEM PRESCHOOL

Vietnamese Women’s Day is always an extrordinary day for Hai Dang Xanh STEM Preschool when Little Sailors get to learn about appreciation, gratefulness and how to show love to special ladies in their lives.
This year, in order to create meaningful memories for families, Hai Dang Xanh STEM Preschool organized a special workshop as of gifts to our women: flower arrangement class for our Little Sailors and parents.
This is the first time that parents and Little Sailors join a class together, the first time that parents get to experience the environment and education that Little Sailors join every day; this workshop also helps parents understand how their kids learn at school, is a bonding time among parents – kids – school. Cute little moments when Little Sailors help their moms, dads, grandparents in trimming leaves, cutting ribbons or when parents watch their kids try to put flowers together are small but will always be treasured.
This special class is also a gift from Hai Dang Xanh STEM Preschool to all the moms that have always believed in us.

For preschool-aged children, the project is implemented in three basic steps: Project initiation, project implementation, and project closure. During the exploration process, children plan, execute, and manage their own experiential activities; the teacher’s role is only to guide and support them. At this stage, the child is the central figure, and with the teacher’s help, they independently solve a complex learning task, both theoretically and practically. Through this, they create their own products and can present them to others. This enhances their self-reliance and active participation in activities; it encourages and develops creativity, responsibility, teamwork skills, and especially the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

This is an engineering design process that allows children to create simple devices such as gadgets, toys, or learning tools according to their needs and desires, under the guidance and support of teachers and classmates. It helps children solve problems in their lives.

This learning model helps children focus on the learning process, be proactive and collaborative, and provides challenges appropriate to their age and ability to explore and discover. It encourages them to surpass themselves and persevere.
