Playing and learning are two activities that always go hand in hand in educating young children because continuously absorbing knowledge will create pressure for children to learn. Therefore, outdoor activities help children relieve stress through having fun with friends. This creates a balance between learning and playing, ensuring the physical and mental health of young children.

In the process of participating in extracurricular activities, children will have the opportunity to move the whole body, so that the child’s body develops better and the resistance is also improved..
Moreover, outdoor play activities help children to be exposed to large amounts of air and natural light, one of the factors that support the overall muscle and bone system.

Extracurricular activities help children experience and explore the world around them. Thereby, children will learn many life skills such as: communication skills, teamwork skills, problem-solving skills, etc. Moreover, children also learn interesting knowledge about daily life that children do not grasp all when studying in class..

In the process of participating in extracurricular activities, children have the opportunity to play and make friends with friends with similar interests and interests. These are group activities, so children will learn how to coordinate, work with classmates and practice communication skills and flexible behavior with people around.

Understanding the importance of being a bridge, Green Lighthouse Stem Preschool always strives to create events where parents not only observe but also directly accompany their children. From the activity of wrapping banh chung every Tet holiday, to the sports festival – where parents give their children strength in each competition, or Christmas fair, Halloween music concert – where parents cheer their children on the big stage. These moments not only strengthen the bond between family and school, but also help children feel the companionship, thereby having a memorable childhood.

For preschool-aged children, the project is implemented in three basic steps: Project initiation, project implementation, and project closure. During the exploration process, children plan, execute, and manage their own experiential activities; the teacher’s role is only to guide and support them. At this stage, the child is the central figure, and with the teacher’s help, they independently solve a complex learning task, both theoretically and practically. Through this, they create their own products and can present them to others. This enhances their self-reliance and active participation in activities; it encourages and develops creativity, responsibility, teamwork skills, and especially the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
This is an engineering design process that allows children to create simple devices such as gadgets, toys, or learning tools according to their needs and desires, under the guidance and support of teachers and classmates. It helps children solve problems in their lives.
This learning model helps children focus on the learning process, be proactive and collaborative, and provides challenges appropriate to their age and ability to explore and discover. It encourages them to surpass themselves and persevere.
